History was marked with the successful launch of our third Sustainability Report.
Our sustainability strategy has 7 focus areas for the next five years, aligning with national and global goals.
The main milestones we have achieved are:
1. B Corp Certification- Global standards of verified performance in ESG.
2. 30% Reduction in Factory Waste
3. 28% reduction in water used per Kg of product
4. Successful transition to clear PET bottles
5. 6.4% reduction in intensity carbon emissions while increasing production by 20%
6. Entry-level wages surpassed the Kenyan gazetted minimum wage by 114%
7. >39% of our operations energy is derived from solar.
This launch was graced by Cabinet Secretary – Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry Hon Aden Duale EGH, and Director General – National Environment Management Authority Mamo B Mamo EBS, and other distinguished guests.
