Subject: Multi grain-Hi Faiba probiotic drink


Dear sir/madam,
I have been drinking the multigrain fat free probiotic from the time it came into the market and it was great. Of late though the texture has changed alot, the multigrain that you put in the drink has changed a lot, it feels like you are putting in more husks than the real grain like it used to be. you have to keep spitting the husks out with every sip. I would like to request you to restor it back to how it was otherwise i am sure there are people out there like me who will no longer drink it.

We have indeed changed the fiber in your ProBiotic Yoghurt Drink HiFiba. Research has shown that the new fibers we are using are more fibrous, resulting in an healthier product. The prebiotic properties of the product are enhanced, since these fibers are better suitable for the probiotic bacteria in this yoghurt. Hence resulting in a healthier product. However I have received several opinions similar to yours and will take this product back into our product development department. I will try and see how we can combine the additional health benefits of this product with your preference of having a less fibrous/husky product.

Am a consumer of your product,bio wild bush honey,having tasted the wonderful product and read the worthy course Behring it.

I've been wondering why you don't package the product in larger quantities,say 900g or 1kg and so on. I think this will bring down cost,as packaging more honey will be cheaper and also give clients variety.

We are pleased to note that you really appreciate our honey. Yes indeed it comes from very remote areas where we cosponsor this women's self help project and we are indeed pleased with how it has benefited this group.

The size we have come up with, is as a result of market surveys done which indicate that a size around the 400 - 500g mark is the most popular in all round terms.

There are then a few people like yourself perhaps who appreciate and consume quality honey far more than others. The Kenyan market is so small in relative terms that it is not viable for us to go into labeling and bottle procurement expenses for small numbers.

Our 'Best management practice' does also encourage us to go out of our way to ensure customer satisfaction all round.

I repeat in black and white- Kenya’s finest honey is “bio honey”. And your range of yoghurt is awesome.

Not every company can be Gandhi, but each has the power to make sure its existence counts. It is very patriotic that you embraced risk, were willing to roll the dice with your money & reputation on the line in support of the great people of Turkana and Pokot.

It’s noble of BIOFOODS to have embraced social entrepreneurship and contributed to the enriching lives rather than just making money.

Hope all employees feel great for realizing that making money is so cliché. Making money as well as contributing to and changing the world is a lot more fun.

Dear Biofoods,

Thank you very much for introducing the lactose free milk. Being lactose intolerant, I have been enjoying your fat free nature yoghurt (though I am not a yoghurt fan)

Question, have you thought of branching into other areas like gluten free products? You will be a savior to gluten intolerant (celiac disease) consumers. Being gluten intolerant, I have to order gluten free flour from the US.

Once again I am speechless about the prompt and fantastic customer care service at Biofoods.Just wanted to say that I love your diet yorghurts ALOT!! I have lost two kilos in two weeks! Love your muesli and natural yorghurt. And love the milk chocolate and vanilla puddings, though I wish you could do a diet version of the puddings.

Thanx for your message and it is good to hear from you. I am doing well, and enjoying the Superlite yogurt. One thing I must say is that I was pleasantly surprised that you have the probiotic yogurt-didn't know this. I have been taking probiotic supplements for health reasons-and these cost really much! So I it was good for you to introduce me to this when you delivered the hamper. I have been taking it [of course discontinued the supplements] and the results are amazing! And so much cheaper too :). I have spread the word-and my friends are also pleasantly surprised and have become frequent customers :). Only thing is I still haven't seen the natural flavor of the probiotic on the shelves- it was in your hamper though...

This is to congratulate you and your team for a most impressive set up and to thank you for entertaining my request in spite of an obviously very busy schedule.

Lea and Stella were great and the visit was very edifying.

As a general rule of thumb, I desist from wanting to know what the kitchens of the places I like to eat at look like lest I get shocked at the way my meal was prepared.

Today, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Without a doubt the exemplary people, the set up and the processes match the excellent product we get on the shop shelves.

Last but by no means least, thank you for the generous gift hampers.
